SRFTI invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the following faculty positions on a contract basis at Film and Television Institute, Jollang-Rakap (Jote), Papum Pare, Arunachal Pradesh:
1. Associate Professor (Direction)
- Number of Positions: 01
- Salary: ₹1,13,043/- per month (₹1,06,900/- with accommodation)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 63 years
- Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree from a recognized university or equivalent
- A postgraduate degree/diploma (minimum two years) in Cinema specializing in Direction & Screenplay Writing / Producing & Direction in Electronic and Digital Media / Television Direction / Electronic and Digital Media Management
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a Director or Screenplay Writer or equivalent teaching experience OR
- A master’s degree in Theater, Literature, or Film Studies with at least 6 years of relevant experience OR
- A graduate degree in the above fields with at least 8 years of experience
- Postgraduate teaching experience and knowledge of Indian and international cinema will be preferred
2. Associate Professor (Editing)
- Number of Positions: 01
- Salary: ₹1,13,043/- per month (₹1,06,900/- with accommodation)
- Age Limit: Not exceeding 63 years
- Qualifications & Experience:
- A degree from a recognized university or equivalent
- A postgraduate degree/diploma (minimum two years) in Editing / Editing for Electronic and Digital Media / Television Editing
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience as an Editor or equivalent teaching experience OR
- A master’s degree in Theater, Literature, or Film Studies with at least 6 years of relevant experience OR
- A graduate degree in the above fields with at least 8 years of experience
- Postgraduate teaching experience and knowledge of Indian and international cinema will be preferred

Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Implementing academic curricula and coordinating workshops, guest lectures, and training programs

- Ensuring proper utilization of physical and human resources
- Organizing examinations and evaluations
- Engaging in faculty development and research
