Position Details

Note:

  • If sufficient numbers of eligible women candidates are not available to the extent of 33%, the unfilled vacancies shall be filled by male candidates belonging to the same reserved category as per Notification No. M (14)/136/GEN/DOP dated: 26.11.2018.
  • Out of 22 posts, 01 (one) post is reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWD5), belonging to the category of Autism, Intellectual Disability, Specific Learning Disability, and Mental Illness as per Notification No. 8420/GEN/DOP dated: 21.12.2021.

2. Important Dates


  • Last Date for Submission of Applications: 31/03/2025

3. Eligibility Conditions


(A) Minimum Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate Degree from a recognized University.

(B) Age Limit:

  • Candidates should have attained the age of 21 years but should not have exceeded 40 years as on 30/11/2024, as per Notification No: M(3)/(55)/GEN/DOP/PLIII dated: 03/07/2017.

4. Required Documents


Candidates must submit the following documents:

  1. Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification issued by the competent authority under relevant orders of the State Government.
  2. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Head of Department (for employed candidates).
  3. Marital Status Certificate (for female candidates). In case of married women, the Certificate of Identification (COI) or Sikkim Subject Certificate (SSC) of the husband should be enclosed.
  4. Valid Local Employment Card issued by the appropriate authority of the Government of Sikkim.

5. Scheme of Examination


  • The detailed scheme/syllabus and pattern for the Written Examinations will be published on the official website at a later date.

6. Application Process


  • Candidates are advised to apply online through the Commission’s website http://spsc.sikkim.gov.in/ on or before the stipulated date and time. Applications received through any other mode will not be accepted.
  • Application Fee: Rs. 500/- (Non-refundable) payable online through Net Banking or Credit/Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard).


7. Admit Card


  • Eligible candidates can download and print their e-Admit Cards from the official website after the Commission publishes a notice for the same.


8. Examination Details


  • Candidates must bring a Photo Identity Proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter Card, Driving License) along with the valid e-Admit Card to the examination center.
  • No TA/DA will be provided for attending the examination.


9. Document Verification


  • Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for document scrutiny. Shortlisted candidates must submit attested photocopies of all relevant documents on the dates specified by the Commission.


10. General Instructions


  • Admission to all stages of the examination (Written Examination) is provisional and subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions. If any candidate is found ineligible at any stage, their candidature will be canceled without notice.
  • The Commission will entertain applications for review or RTI/Correspondence only after the entire recruitment process is complete.
  • Any further instructions, corrigendum, or addendum will be uploaded only on the official website of the Sikkim Public Service Commission.
