Available Positions & Eligibility Criteria

SRFTI is inviting applications for several teaching and technical positions. Below are the key details:

1. Professors (Electronic & Digital Media - Various Specializations)

• Specializations: Cinematography, Writing, Direction & Producing, Editing, Media Management, Screenplay Writing, Animation
• Salary: Rs. 1,55,200 per month (Rs. 1,31,500 with accommodation)
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 63 years
• Qualification & Experience:
  • A degree from a recognized university.
  • A postgraduate diploma (at least two years) or a master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 8-15 years of professional experience (including teaching) in the respective domain.
  • Desirable: Administrative/Managerial experience and knowledge of Indian & International Television/OTT industry.

2. Associate Professors (Cinematography, Editing, Sound, Producing, Animation)

• Salary: Rs. 1,34,900 per month (Rs. 1,14,500 with accommodation)
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 63 years
• Qualification & Experience:
  • A relevant postgraduate diploma or master’s degree.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience in the respective domain.
  • Candidates must demonstrate evidence of professional work.

3. Assistant Professors (Animation, Cinematography, Writing, Sound, Management, Editing)

• Salary: Rs. 1,13,600 per month (Rs. 96,700 with accommodation)
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 63 years
• Qualification & Experience:
• A relevant degree or diploma (minimum two years).
• At least 2-6 years of professional experience (including teaching) in respective fields.
• Good knowledge of Indian and international media trends.

4. Technical Positions (Broadcast Engineer, Production Manager, Videographer, Sound Recordist, Editor, Assistant Broadcast Engineer)

• Salary Range: Rs. 70,200 - Rs. 87,675 per month (depending on role and accommodation availability).
• Qualifications:
• Engineering degree or equivalent for technical roles.
• Media production/management diploma for production-based roles.
• 2-4 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong technical expertise in media production, editing, sound recording, and broadcasting.
