Customer Service Associate (Clerical Cadre) – Sports Quota

Central Bank of India, a leading Public Sector Bank with a rich legacy since 1911, is inviting applications from meritorious sportspersons for recruitment in the Clerical Cadre (Customer Service Associate) under the Sports Quota.

Position Details:

• Designation: Customer Service Associate
• Vacancies: 5
• Pay Scale: ₹24,050 – ₹64,480 (with applicable allowances and benefits as per Bipartite Settlement)
• Probation Period: 6 months

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Nationality:

• Indian Citizen or candidates from Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibet (with Government of India certification).

2. Age (as of 31.03.2025):

• General Category: 20 to 28 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• PwBD: 10 years relaxation

3. Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Computer proficiency: Must have a certificate/diploma/degree in Computer Operations OR must have studied Computer/IT as a subject in school/college.

4. Sports Qualifications (Valid from 01.04.2022 to 31.01.2025):

• Represented State or Country at National/International level.
• Medal winners in Junior National Championships / Khelo India Games / School Games Federation of India (SGFI) / Inter-University Tournaments.
• Participation in specific recognized sports including Archery, Badminton, Boxing, Chess, Cycling, Gymnastics, Powerlifting, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Wrestling.

Selection Process:

Phase 1 – Sports Proficiency (50 Marks)

• Evaluation based on sports achievements at International, National, State, and University levels.

Phase 2 – Online Written Test (50 Marks)

• Subjects:
  • English (15 marks)
  • Computer (15 marks)
  • General Sports Awareness (20 marks)
• Duration: 60 minutes
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deduction for each incorrect answer.

  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹750
  • SC/ST/PwBD: ₹100
• Written Exam & Selection: March–April 2025
