A new satellite channel ABN TV has been launched from Siliguri to offer a new experience to Entertainment and TV aficionados .
The Channel will offer National and International news covering . ABN TV first  Nepali satellite Channel from India to run from Siliguri. Viewers can also take advantage of its Live TV program from its official website https://abntv.in/live-tv/ 

The previous Nepali  news channel was once unofficially banned due to some political issues during the Gorkhaland agitation. On July 22, West Bengal police raided and sealed the corporate office of the channel  and its recording studio in Siliguri. On The next day,the district magistrate of Jalpaiguri
Rachna Bhagat issued an order restraining the channel from broadcasting news programmes
related to Darjeeling and its surrounding areas  until August 7 but The order was extended indefinitely on August 8.

India’s first Nepali language satellite television channel ABN TV re-launched under the name ABN TV on August 30. ABN TV will also be aired in Tata Sky and Airtel after one month. . ABN TV Channel  is owned by Arcko Broadcasting and Satellite PVT Ltd. The channel will focus on Nepali speaking areas and will help showcasing talents of youths in the field of music , art , culture , literature .
