Job Overview:
- Number of Posts: 4 (Four)
- Job Type: Contract basis (temporary)
- Salary: Rs. 12,000 per month (fixed amount)
- Contract Duration: Until you turn 65 years old or a permanent Inspector joins the post, whichever comes first
Who Can Apply?
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must meet these requirements:
- Retired Inspector, BCW & TD
- Retired Extension Officer
- Retired Head Clerk
- Retired Upper Division (UD) Clerk
- Must have worked for the Government of West Bengal
- Pay scale of Rs. 7,100 - Rs. 37,600 with Grade Pay Rs. 3,600 (as per ROPA 2009) OR Level-9 (as per ROPA 2019)
- Age Limit:
- You must be under 64 years old as of February 28, 2025, or on the date you join after selection (whichever is later)
Special Preference
If you are a retired employee from the BCW & TD Department, you’ll get priority!
