1. School of Human Sciences
Department of Psychology
Number of Positions: 4
Specializations Required:
- Cognitive Psychology
- Organizational Psychology
- General Psychology
Qualifications:
- Post Graduation in Psychology with specialization in the required field.
- Candidates must have qualified the NET examination or hold a Ph.D. degree.
- Note: Ph.D. scholars currently pursuing coursework or receiving fellowships are not eligible.
2. School of Professional Studies
Department of Tourism
Number of Positions: 2
Specializations Required:
- Tourism Marketing
- Sustainable Tourism Development
Qualifications:
- Post Graduation in Tourism with specialization in the required field.
- Candidates must have qualified the NET examination or hold a Ph.D. degree.
- Note: Ph.D. scholars currently pursuing coursework or receiving fellowships are not eligible.

- Date of Interview: 18th February 2025
- Reporting Time: 10:00 A.M.
- Venue: Administrative Block, 7th Mile, Samdur, P.O. Tadong, Gangtok, Sikkim.
Application Process
- Candidates are required to bring their CV/bio-data along with a filled application form in the prescribed format (available on the University website).
- An application fee of ₹200/- will be collected on the day of the interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Faculty will be responsible for delivering lectures, paper setting, and evaluation of answer scripts.
- The workload may exceed 25 classes per month, depending on the department’s requirements.
Remuneration
- Guest Faculty will be paid an honorarium of ₹1,500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of ₹50,000/- per month.
Important Notes
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or joining the University if selected.
- Selected candidates will need to make their own accommodation arrangements, as the University will not provide free accommodation.
- The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions or reject any application without assigning any reason.
- Guest Faculty may also be appointed in absentia or through invitation.
