Important Details on Recruitment of Probationary Officers in State bank of India

Educational Qualification (as on 30.04.2025):
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent. Candidates in the final year/semester of graduation may also apply provisionally, provided they produce proof of passing the exam on or before 30.04.2025. -
Age Limit (as on 01.04.2024):
Minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years, with age relaxation applicable for reserved categories as per government norms. -
Application Fee:
₹750 for Unreserved/EWS/OBC candidates and Nil for SC/ST/PwBD candidates. Fees once paid will not be refunded.
Selection Procedure- Recruitment of Probationary Officers in State bank of India
The selection process consists of three phases:
- Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Objective Test, 100 marks)
- Phase-II: Main Examination (Objective Test, 200 marks; Descriptive Test, 50 marks)
- Phase-III: Psychometric Test, Group Exercises, and Interview
Final selection for Recruitment of Probationary Officers in State Bank of India will be based on the combined marks from Phase-II and Phase-III, with candidates required to qualify each phase separately.
