Recruitment of Village Police Volunteer

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for enrolment in the vacant post of Village Police Volunteer in the following Gram Panchayats (GP):

• Sangsay GP under Lava PS
• Dr. Grahms Homes GP under Kalimpong PS
• Kaffer Kankebong GP under Reang PS

This recruitment is announced as per Memo No. 471-Wel/VP/Wel/Sports-352/2024 dated 23/02/2024 by the ADG (Welfare), West Bengal.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Residency: Must be a permanent resident of the concerned Gram Panchayat.
2. Educational Qualification: Must have passed Class X from any recognized Board/Council.
3. Physical Standards: Must have good physical standards and health.
4. Background Check: Must have no adverse reports regarding antecedents.
5. Age: Must be between 20-30 years as of January 1st of the year of appointment.

Application Submission:

Candidates applying for Recruitment of Village Police Volunteer must submit their application forms to the Officer In-charge of the concerned Police Station (PS) by 20/06/2024. Applications received after this date will not be entertained.
