Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, Haldia Dock Complex, is seeking qualified candidates for the following contract positions: Visiting Super Specialist and Visiting Specialists. Interested professionals are invited to a Walk-in Interview scheduled for June 15, 2024.

Walk-In Interview Details:

• Date: June 15, 2024
• Time: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Venue for Walk-In Interview

• Guest House of Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port, Kolkata, 93, Chowringhee Road, Kolkata – 700020 (near Exide Crossing)
• Registration: Prior to 10:30 a.m. on the interview date, candidates must register by calling the Medical Superintendent (9434031176) or Sr. Dy. Manager (P&IR) (9434031386).

Positions and Qualifications:

Gastroenterology (Super Specialist)

• Qualification: MBBS, MD, DM (Gastroenterology) or equivalent recognized by NMC (erstwhile MCI).
• Remuneration: Rs. 9700/- per full-day visit.

Pulmonology (Visiting Specialist)

• Qualification: MBBS, MD (Pulmonology / Chest Medicine) or equivalent recognized by NMC (erstwhile MCI).
• Remuneration: Rs. 5500/- per full-day visit and/or Rs. 2750/- per half-day visit.

Ophthalmology (Visiting Specialist)

• Qualification: MBBS, MD/MS (Ophthalmology) or equivalent recognized by NMC (erstwhile MCI). Alternatively, MBBS with a Diploma in Ophthalmology and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Remuneration: Rs. 5500/- per full-day visit and/or Rs. 2750/- per half-day visit.

Orthopaedics (Visiting Specialist)

• Qualification: MBBS, MS (Orthopaedics) or equivalent recognized by NMC (erstwhile MCI). Alternatively, MBBS with a Diploma in Orthopaedics (D Orth.) and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Remuneration: Rs. 5500/- per full-day visit and/or Rs. 2750/- per half-day visit.

Paediatrics (Visiting Specialist)

• Qualification: MBBS, MD (Paediatrics) or equivalent recognized by NMC (erstwhile MCI). Alternatively, MBBS with a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Remuneration: Rs. 5500/- per full-day visit and/or Rs. 2750/- per half-day visit.

Radiology (Visiting Specialist)

• Qualification: MBBS, MD (Radiology) or equivalent recognized by NMC (erstwhile MCI). Alternatively, MBBS with a Diploma in Medical Radio Diagnosis (DMRD) and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Remuneration: Rs. 5500/- per full-day visit and/or Rs. 2750/- per half-day visit.

Pathology (Visiting Specialist)

• Qualification: MBBS, MD (Pathology) or equivalent recognized by NMC (erstwhile MCI).
• Remuneration: Rs. 5500/- per full-day visit and/or Rs. 2750/- per half-day visit.

General Terms & Conditions:

• The initial contract is for one year, renewable based on performance.
• Duties include attending to outpatient, inpatient, and emergency patients, and performing operations independently.
• Free accommodation at SMP-K Guest House, Haldia, and transportation between Kolkata and Haldia will be provided.
• Specific terms and conditions will be discussed during the interview.

• Bring the following documents to the interview:
• Application form with detailed bio-data.
• Recent passport-sized photograph.
• Self-certified photocopies of relevant certificates/testimonials.
