The Department of Health & Family Welfare, Kalimpong, has issued a notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for vacant positions in various health programs. 

Interested individuals are required to submit their applications online, adhering to the specified criteria outlined in the attached notification.

The application, along with self-attested testimonials supporting age, caste, qualifications, and experiences, must be submitted in scanned form as a single PDF document. All submissions should reach the designated email ID mentioned below no later than 12th October 2023.

Applicants are instructed to clearly mention the name of the applied position in the subject space of the email.

The age criteria for candidates are defined with the minimum age as of the date of advertisement and the maximum age as of 1st September 2023.

Shortlisted candidates will undergo an interview, computer test, and other procedures as per the Terms of Reference.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to review the attached notification for detailed information.

Education Qualification for Technical Supervisor Blood Bank

• Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biological Science before obtaining Diploma or Degree.
• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)/ Diploma in Laboratory Techniques (DLT) from any Government recognized University/ institution Or
• Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology BMLT) from any Government recognized University/institution Or
• Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (M.Sc. in MLT/PGDMLT) from any Government recognized University/institution.
• Working Knowledge of Computer
• The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal
• The applicant must have knowledge of Local Language

Education Qualification Counsellor-Blood Bank

• Master's/Post Graduate degree in Psychology/ Social Work/Sociology/ Anthropology/ Human Development from any Government recognized Institution.
• Working Knowledge of Computer
• The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal
• The applicant must have knowledge of Local Language

Education Qualification for Blood Bank Laboratory Technician

• Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biological Science before obtaining Diploma or Degree.
• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)/Diploma in Laboratory Techniques (DLT) from any Government recognized University/institution Or
• Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) from any Government recognized University/ institution Or Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (M.Sc. in MLT/PGDMLT) from any Government recognized University/ institution.
• Working Knowledge of Computer 4. The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal

Important Instruction for the Candidates

• Only online Applications (as scanned and pdf attachments) will be accepted Hard copies/print copies by post or hand will not be entertained.
• Applications forms not properly filled in or incomplete Application forms are liable to be cancelled .
• If the online application details submitted by the applicant differ with the original testimonials, that application shall be liable to be cancelled.
• If proper signature and photograph are not uploaded at the time of online application that application shall also be liable to be cancelled.
• The essential qualifications mentioned are the minimum and mere possession of the same does not entitle the candidate to claim selection.
• All the essential qualification must be completed within the date of advertisement. Hard copy/print copy of the submitted online application should be retained by all applicants for document verification purpose.
• No rounding off of marks will be granted, Proportionate marking up to 2 decimal points will be considered.
• Caste certificate issued within the date of advertisement by the competent authorities of West Bengal only will be accepted.
• In case of PWD candidates, Disability certificate issued within the date of advertisement by the competent authorities of West Bengal only will be accepted.
• Experience will be calculated after obtaining the required essential qualification for the above mentioned position, within the date of advertisement.
• Candidates found valid as per the documents submitted will be called @1:10 for the written test, original testimonial verification, computer test and interview.
• (1:10 ratio stands for: For one vacant post, first 10 valid candidates, as per preliminary merit score vide respective OR would be called.
• If there are say, 2-3 vacancies against one (1) post, then first 20-30 valid candidates with highest scores would be called).
• The decision of the competent authorities regarding the recruitment is final.
