Title & No. of Posts: Chief General Manager/Electrical – Two Posts
Location:
- Jammu / Sangaldan (Jammu & Kashmir) - One Post
- Siliguri (West Bengal) - One Post
Duration: 3 years from the date of appointment, extendable up to 5 years.
Terms of Appointment: Deputation basis
Scale of Pay: For SAG/NFSAG Officer – CGM level Rs.144200-218200/- (CDA) (Pay matrix level 14).

Qualification and Experience
To be eligible for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- IRSEE Officer working in SAG/NFSAG scale with experience in construction/maintenance of substations, electrical general service, and Railway Electrification.
- Relevant extensive experience and requisite knowledge in the same field.
- Good communication skills.
- Overall, a well-rounded officer with a mix of the above qualifications and experience will be preferred.
Age Limit
For SAG level candidates, the maximum age limit is not exceeding fifty-eight years on the closing date of receipt of the application.
Exemption from Permanent Absorption
IRCON International Limited has been granted exemption from the rule of immediate absorption by the Ministry of Railways, valid for a period of three years from 31st August 2020, as per their letters No. 2008/PL/45/4 (pt.), dated 09.03.2021, and No. 2020/PL/44/14, dated 29.11.2021.
