About Lewis English School Mirik

Lewis English School Co- educational English medium school located in Mirik which was established in the year 1975.

The school is supervised by the registered educational society and was the first English medium school in Mirik valley.

Objective of the School

Main objective of the school is to impart quality education to the students residing in local areas and from some other residential areas around Mirik.

The schools aims to prepare students for better tomorrow and guide them to be a better citizens in the future.

History and Achievements 

Lewis English School was upgraded and became a full fledged high school in the year 1985 recognised under by the government of West Bengal and was affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination,(ICSE),New Delhi in the year 1986.

In the history of Mirik,Lewis English School became the first and only ICSE school that has been succeed to give 100% pass results in the ICSE examination from the valley.
