Role Summary
As an Agniveer (SSR), you will undergo specialized training at INS Chilka, Odisha, and serve in the Indian Navy for four years. Post-service, top performers (up to 25% of each batch) may be eligible for permanent enrollment in the Navy.

- 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English (50% aggregate) OR
- 3-year engineering diploma (Mechanical/Electrical/Computer Science etc.) with 50% marks OR
- 2-year vocational course with Physics & Mathematics (50% aggregate).
- Age Criteria (as of 2025):
- Batch 02/2025: Born between Sep 1, 2004 – Feb 29, 2008
- Batch 01/2026: Born between Feb 1, 2005 – Jul 31, 2008
- Batch 02/2026: Born between Jul 1, 2005 – Dec 31, 2008
- Physical Standards:
- Height: Min. 157 cm | Vision: 6/12 (uncorrected), 6/6 (corrected)
- Fitness Test:
- Male: 1.5 km run in 6 min 30 sec, 20 squats, 15 push-ups
- Female: 1.5 km run in 8 min, 15 squats, 10 push-ups
