Advertisement No. 02/2024: The West Bengal Co-operative Service Commission invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment to the Clerical Cadre posts in The West Bengal State Co-operative Bank Ltd.. Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

1. Graduation in any discipline from a UGC-recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination.
2. Preference: Candidates with B.Tech/M.Tech degrees from an AICTE-accredited institution will be given preference.
3. Additional Requirement:
• Diploma in Computer Application or Diploma in Information Technology (at least 06 months duration) from a recognized institution.

Selection Process:

Stage I: Online Examination

• Exam Pattern: 150 MCQ-type questions from:
  1. Quantitative Aptitude
  2. Test of Reasoning
  3. General Awareness
  4. English
  5. Bengali
• Total Marks: 150
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Negative Marking: 1:4 (for every 4 incorrect answers, 1 mark will be deducted)

Stage II: Practical Test & Interview

1. Computer Practical Test: (Qualifying in nature, 50 Marks)
2. Viva-Voce Interview: (15 Marks)

Final Merit List:

• Based on the Online CBT score + Interview score

General Instructions:

1. Candidates must check the official website for Admit Card downloads and examination updates.
2. Exam centers will be in and around Kolkata and Howrah (if required, in other district headquarters).
3. Candidates will not receive admit cards by post.
4. Candidates must carry valid ID proof and a printout of their admit card to the examination center.
5. The final list of selected candidates will be published on the official website.
6. Candidates must not canvass in any form; doing so may lead to disqualification.
