Gitdabling Higher Secondary School is situated in a lovely village called Gitdabling. This village is about 26 kilometers away from the main town of Kalimpong District. The school was started in 1993 and it was officially recognized in 1997. Over the years, it grew and added more classes. In 2010, it was upgraded to include classes up to 10th grade, and in 2016, it added classes up to 12th grade. In addition to regular courses, the school also offers an VIII+ Vocational Course on EHMW. Moreover, the school provides a Government Ashram Hostel for boys from the Scheduled Tribe community.
