RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF LADY CONSTABLES IN WEST BENGAL POLICE
Application are invited from the eligible Indian candidates through advertisement number : 17/2017 / WBPB for the post of Lady Constable in WB Police (West Bengal Police). NVF , Home Guard and Civic Volunteers serving in West Bengal Police also apply for the post if they qualify the eligibility criteria for the post.
Eligibility Criteria :
Age (18-27 years as on 01.01.2018) :
The applicant must not be less than 18 years (Eighteen) years old and should be more than 27 (twenty seven) years old as on 01.01.2018 . The upper age limit shall be released by 5 years for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) , and by 3 years for the candidates belonging to other backward classes (OBC) . The NVF and Home Guard personnel serving in West Bengal Police are also eligible for the relaxation of upper age limits as per existing Government order.
Educational Qualification :
The Candidates should have passed Madhyamik Pariksha from the West Bengal Board of Secondary education or its equivalent.
Language :
The applicant must be able to read,speak and write in Bengali Language , Not applicable for the candidates residing in hill subdivision of Darjeeling , Kurseong and Kalimpong districts.
NVF , Home Guard personnel and Civic Volunteers serving in West Bengal Police should have completed three years of service as on 01.01.2018.

Application form has to be submitted through online or offline modes during the period from 03.01.2018 to 01.02.2018 (5 PM)
The last date of deposit of application fee and / or processing fees in respect of applicants applying through online using United Bank of India Challan will be 05.02.2018 during banking hours.
