ABOUT ITBPF( INDO-TIBETAN BORDER POLICE FORCE):
ITBPF (Indo Tibetean Border Police Force) was formed on 24th of October 1962 and are deployed on border areas from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh covering 3488 km of Indo-China Border and manning Border Outposts on altitudes ranging from 9000’ to 18700’ in the Western, Middle and Eastern Sector of the Indo-China Border.ITBPF is a specialized mountain Force and most of the officers & men are professionally trained mountaineers and skiers. Being the first responder for natural disaster in the Himalayas, ITBPF has been carrying out numerous rescue and relief operations.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the post of Head Constables (Motor Mechanic) and constable (Motor Mechanic) in Group -C. Candidates may apply online through official website of ITBP.
NAME OF THE POST : HEAD CONSTABLE (MOTOR MECHANIC)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
The candidate applying for the post of head Constable Motor Mechanic should have passed 12th (10+2) from any recognize board or Institution .
DESIRED QUALIFICATION :
Certificate in Motor Mechanic from a recognize Board or institution or Industrial training Institute.
EXPERIENCE :
Three years of practical experience in the trade in a reputed workshop or three years diploma in Automobile Engineering
Age Limitations : 18 to 25 years as on 31/01/2018.
Pay Scale : Rs. 25500 – Rs. 81100 .

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
The candidate applying for the post of Constable Motor Mechanic should have passed matriculation or 10th standard passed from any recognized board of education or Institution .
DESIRED QUALIFICATION :
Industrial Training certificate in respective trade from a recognized institution .
EXPERIENCE :
Three Years of experience from a recognized firm/ Institution .
Age Limitations : 18 to 25 years as on 31/01/2018.
Pay Scale :Rs. 21700 – Rs. 69100 .
UPPER AGE RELAXATION : Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for ST/ST
3 Years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category , ex-serviceman and others , if any as per government norms and regulations.
PHYSICAL STANDARDS :
MALE :
Height : 170 cm (162.5 cm for ST candidate)
Chest: 85cm (81 cm for ST)- (Expanded)
For candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras,Marathas and candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh,Kashmir and Leh & Ladakh regions of J&K will be as per the government norms hence candidates are advised to go through the same.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- The candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes;
- Must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
- A colour blind person will not be eligible for appointment. If at any stage of service career, person is found to be colour blind, he will be boarded out as per SHAPE policy in vogue in the Force.

Step wise Instructions for Online Application:
STEP-1 : Visit website http://recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in
STEP-2: Go to News & select the post (http://recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in/statics/news).
STEP-3: Read all the detailed notification and requirement.
STEP-4: Click on “Register” for New Registration.(If you are applying for the first time, otherwise Click on User Login )
STEP-6: Click on “User Login” , If you have already already registered.
STEP-6: Fill all the necessary details and submit the application form.(Make sure to re check the
details before you click on submit button)
STEP-7: Finally , take out print of online application form for future reference.
SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection of candidates will be done through written test followed by physical efficiency test (PET) and physical standard test (PST) and practical skill test.
Bar coded admit Cards to the candidates will be issued online by mentioning the date and venue of recruitment test. There is no requirement of submitting any documents at the time of filling online application form. However, it is clarified that candidature of candidates who are issued online admit cards will remain provisional till they are finally selected and submit all related documents/ certificates in original and in prescribed format at the stage of verification of original documents.
