Eligibility Criteria
Nationality/Citizenship
- Indian citizens, or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who came to India before 01.01.1962, or persons of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years (as of 31.03.2025)
- Age Relaxation: Available for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per government norms.

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Computer literacy is mandatory (certificate/diploma/degree in computer operations).
Sports Eligibility
- Candidates must have represented their state, university, or country in national or international competitions.
- Medals won in Junior National Championships, Khelo India Youth Games, Khelo India University Games, or School Games Federation of India (SGFI) will be considered.
- The sports achievements should be valid between 01.04.2022 to 31.01.2025.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of two phases:
Phase 1: Sports Proficiency (50 Marks)
- Marks will be awarded based on the level of tournaments/competitions participated in. For example:
- Representing the country in an international competition: 50 marks
- Representing a state in national championships: 45 marks
- Representing a university in inter-university tournaments: 40 marks
Phase 2: Online Written Test (50 Marks)
- The online test will consist of three sections:
- English (15 marks)
- Computer Knowledge (15 marks)
- General Sports Awareness (20 marks)
- The test will be conducted in 13 regional languages.
