Applications are invited for the following position under the research project titled “Building a surveillance model for detecting zoonotic spill-over in increased bird-human interaction setting using the One Health approach: A study at selected bird sanctuaries and wetlands”, sponsored by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The project will be conducted under the Department of Community Medicine, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences (SMIMS), Gangtok, Sikkim.
Job Details:
Position: Project Technical Support-III
No. of Position: One (1)
Essential Qualification:
- 3-year graduation in Science/Public Health along with 3 years of experience in a relevant subject/field. OR
- Postgraduate degree in Science/Public Health with knowledge of computer applications.
Upper Age Limit: 35 years
Salary: Rs. 28,000/- per Month + HRA as applicable.
Duration: 1 year
Desirable Qualifications:
- Candidates may be required to do field visits as per project requirements.
- Knowledge of the local language and experience in working in field-based research.
- Experience in managing multi-centric projects will be an added advantage.
Nature of Duties:
- Overall coordination and conduct of project activities, including analysis and report writing.
- Working along with the study team.
