Bank of Baroda - Engagement of Apprentices under The Apprentices Act, 1961
Bank of Baroda invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the engagement of apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Candidates interested in applying should carefully read the following details before submitting their applications.
Important Information:
- Candidates can apply for only one state.
- The home district of the candidate (as per Aadhaar ID) will be considered as the first preference for training placement. In case of non-availability, candidates must provide two alternative preferences.
- Candidates should not have previously undergone apprenticeship training with Bank of Baroda or any other establishment.
- Candidates with more than one year of training/job experience after completing their graduation are not eligible.
- The application must be submitted online only through the official apprenticeship portals.
- Candidates must register on the following apprenticeship portals before applying:
- NAPS: https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
- NATS: https://nats.education.gov.in
- Candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before applying. Shortlisting will be provisional, and final selection is subject to document verification.
- All communication will be made via the email ID provided in the application.
- Candidates should check the Bank’s website (www.bankofbaroda.co.in) and BFSI SSC’s website (https://bfsissc.com) regularly for updates.
Eligibility Criteria (as of 01.02.2025)
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 28 years (Relaxations applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD as per Government rules)
Educational Qualification:
- Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
- For candidates registered under NATS, graduation must have been completed within four years preceding 01.02.2025.
Training Duration:
- 12 months of on-the-job training

A total of 4,000 apprenticeship training seats are available across multiple states. Below is a sample breakdown:
Selection Process
- Online Examination (Objective Type):
- General/Financial Awareness – 25 Marks
- Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude – 25 Marks
- Computer Knowledge – 25 Marks
- General English – 25 Marks
- Total: 100 Marks | Duration: 60 minutes
- No negative marking for wrong answers.
- Document Verification: Candidates must provide original documents for verification.
- Test of Local Language: Candidates must be proficient in the official language of the state applied for.
- Medical Fitness Test: Candidates must be declared medically fit as per bank requirements.

Application Process
- Register on NATS/NAPS portal.
- Apply for apprenticeship on Bank of Baroda’s advertisement within the portal.
- Fill out the final “Application cum Examination Form” via the email link received after registration.
- Pay the application fee via the BFSI SSC portal.
