Joseph's School in Kingston started in February 1996 with the support of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Darjeeling - Sikkim. 


The school has been under its guidance since then, with the Bishop of Darjeeling - Sikkim serving as the President of the Governing Body.


The school's main goal is to provide education to the people of Sikkim and its nearby areas. Its motto is "LOVE AND SERVICE," which reflects its focus on caring for others. 


The school works hard to help students excel in academics while also teaching them important values like love for God and serving the community.


Classes at the school are available from Nursery to Class X, and both boys and girls can attend. The school teaches in English and is affiliated with the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations, based in New Delhi.
