Recruitment of staff for the precursor phase of the project "National Mission on Biodiversity and Human Well-being": Biodiversity and Bio-economy Componentsupported by the Department of Biotechnology. Government of India.

Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE]with its headquarters in Bangalore and Regional Office Eastern Himalaya-Northeast India in Gangtok, Sikkim, invites applications for the following positions:

1. Junior Research Fellow :

Qualification:
Post Graduate/Graduate degree (Ecology, Biodiversity, Forestry, Geography, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Economics, Sociology, and other allied subjects).

Relevant experiences and skills of work on conservation and livelihoods in the Himalayas

A native speaker will be given preference

2. Term: Appointments will be on a fixed-term contract of 1 year.

3. Emoluments: As per the Government of India, Department of Biotechnology norms.

4.Position Base: Darjeeling with extensive field travel.
