These are the images of beautiful orchid found around the districts of Darjeeling as the climatic condition is favorable for orchids.The specialty of these flowers are that it last long for around one month even though its cut and placed in flower pots.Its used for decorative purposes in festivals.There are many varieties of Orchids found around Darjeeling and its surrounding areas like Kurseong ,Kalimpong ,Mirik and others.Floriculture is source of income for few peoples of the area.besides Orchids there are man unique varieties of flower that are available in this area.
