TOTAL SEATS = 50
50% OF SEATS FOR IN SERVICE TEACHER (RECONISED BY THE W.B GOVT.) ONWARDS IX TO XII
SEATS FOR DEPUTED TEACHERS (50% OUT OF 50 SEATS) i.e. = 25
Seats reserved for deputed teachers may be de-reserved for fresher, if they remain vacant after final counseling with prior approval of the concern authority.
Regulations for 2 Years B.Ed. Course in West Bengal Following NCTE Regulations, 2014.
In exercise of the powers conferred by the Government of West Bengal (Memo No. 329-Edn(CS)/EE/10M-16/15 dated 6th April, 2015), the Curriculum Committee hereby makes the following Regulations:
These regulations shall be called the Regulations ( for the B.Ed Programme), with effect from 2015. They shall apply to every candidate applying for admission, registration, conduct and conferment of the B.Ed degree within the jurisdiction of this State i.e., West Bengal.
Admissions, registrations and conferment of B.Ed Degree shall be guided by these regulations:
Course Structure:
The duration of this program is two academic years consisting of four semesters. The academic year shall commence from July 1st of every year. Each semester is roughly of 6 months duration including a regular classes, assignments, practice teaching and examinations.
i)Candidate having at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates) either in the "Bachelor Degree or Master Degree."
ii) Deputed candidates must produce their original Academic qualification & approval of Appointment to the Principal before online applying for the same.
iii) For fresher general candidate age is 35 years and SC/ST up to 40 years can apply
vi) Provisional merit list be published on 28 May, 2018.Eligible list of candidates through conselling.Final merit list be published on 18 June, 2018.
Application will report for change in merit, if any on 30 May 2018.
Three Seats are being reserved for Anglo Indian Schools Teascher as per G.O.
All the applicants have to submit their hard copies of all ducements right from ICSE,MP/CBSE onword and copy of online registration form

About Shree Ramakrishna B.T. College
*Shree Ramakrishna B.T. College Established in 13/11/1957. This is the only Teachers training College in India where Nepali language is taught as one of the method papers in B.Ed. Course.
*Till 1961 college was under the Calcutta University and after that college was affiliated to the North Bengal University now it is affiliated to The West Bengal University of Teachers Training, Education Planning and Administration.
*49% of the total seats are being reserved for Nepali (those they have got proficiency in Nepali language in H.S.)
